This two story South Hill bookstore I visit almost every single month!

If you’re a book lover like me, 2nd Look Books in the Lincoln Heights Shopping Center on Spokane’s South Hill is an absolute dream. I could get lost for hours among the rows and rows of books, seriously, two floors filled with books! This independent bookstore has been serving Spokane since 1982, and it’s clear they’re committed to giving readers the broadest possible selection of books in great condition. With over 100,000 titles spanning more than 200 categories, from rare 19th-century editions to current best sellers, fiction and non-fiction, paperback and hardcover, there’s truly something for everyone.

Some of my favorite perks? Affordable prices, a $5 hardcover thriller section, free book carts, a local authors corner, and trade credit if you bring in books on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Plus, there’s free parking and even Baskin-Robbins just down the way for a little treat while you browse. Honestly, it’s my dream date spot, rows and rows of books and endless hours of happy wandering.
