Huckleberry’s Pasta Bar & Live Music Nights
It’s time I let you in on one of Spokane’s best-kept dining secrets: Huckleberry’s Pasta Bar. For just $13.99, you get a generous serving of pasta—customizable with your choice of noodles, sauce, and fresh ingredients—plus a breadstick and salad. The portions are no joke; my leftovers lasted three full meals.
The experience itself is part of the magic. On my visit, we were treated to a lively soundtrack from Ronin Piano, who played everything from Super Mario Bros. to Jurassic Park and even a few Pixar favorites. The music set the perfect tone—upbeat enough to have us singing along and tapping our feet, but still at a level where we could enjoy conversation around the table.
The pasta bar runs on Fridays and Saturdays from 3:00–8:00 PM, with chefs preparing your selections right in front of you. My friends and I all ordered different combinations, which made for some fun taste testing. Every single dish passed the test—fresh, flavorful, and more than worth the price.
To round out the night, Huckleberry’s also features a lineup of live music in their bistro. Performances for August include Jason Garrett Evans (8/16), Micah Clay (8/23), and Aspen Kye (8/30), each running from 6–8 PM. Arrive a little early if you want to snag a good table.
And of course, dessert is non-negotiable. I grabbed a slice of cake to go, but I’ll admit—it didn’t even survive the drive home. Some traditions, like keeping a “car fork,” just make sense when the cake is that good.
